SOCIAL AND CULTURAL EVENTS

A range of activities take place at these events. In the past we have organised family outings to the seaside, and day trip. We have also run monthly lunch club which is another culturally friendly advice -giving opportunity.

SATURDAY SCHOOLS

This is a once a week programme out of schools educational service delivered in an informal way to young people aged 8- 18 years. This initiative is to promote collaboration between the schools and SOMHAP, by providing the necessary educational support work. The Youth Support workers organise informational workshop, homework club and other activities, to assist students to improve their schoolwork, thus reducing the number of youth dropouts.
